Our Wine Specialist Program explores the major wine regions of the world. Enhance your in-depth knowledge and understanding of the variety of wines available and how they are made. Learn how style is affected by regional differences and production variations, and develop your palate and wine appreciation through critical tastings guided by industry experts in a professional setting. Courses in beer and spirits are intended to round out your expertise.

Award Eligibility:
The LCBO Spirit of Inclusion Initiative Award is designed to create opportunities for diverse historically gender-marginalized people (woman, transgender, non-binary, or gender diverse people) to enter, advance, and thrive in the winery, brewery, and distillery fields. This award is open to students in this program who self-identify as historically gender-marginalized people (woman, transgender, non-binary, or gender diverse people) from a diverse background currently under-represented in the beverage alcohol industry (such as Black, Indigenous, or racialized people; people experiencing disabilities; newcomers; or 2SLGBTQIA+). To apply, you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or a protected person, and you must fill out the LCBO Spirit of Inclusion Initiative Award PDF application form and send it via email to seleftheriadis@georgebrown.ca.
