Eligibility for Registration

Generally, you must have a secondary school diploma or be at least 19 years old by the day your course starts. (Participants in our teen makeup camps must be between 13 and 16 years old.) Contact the department co-ordinator for further details.

If you are legally visiting Canada, you may register in Continuing Education courses without a study permit if the duration of study will be less than six months. For more information, visit the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website.

If you are here on an international study permit for a full-time post-secondary program, you may register in Continuing Education courses that complement but do not replace the program of study for which your study permit has been granted. For more information, visit the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website.

The George Brown College International Centre only processes applications and admissions for full-time post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree programs. They cannot issue letters of acceptance for Continuing Education programs or courses. For more information or to contact one of our international recruitment representatives specializing by country of origin, visit the Contact International Centre web page.
