Human Rights Discrimination and Harassment

George Brown Polytechnic is one of the most diverse institutions in Canada and is committed to promoting and providing an equitable environment for students and employees. George Brown is prepared to take steps to prevent incidents of harassment or discrimination. The institution-wide Human Rights Discrimination and Harassment Policy talks about this commitment and identifies rights and responsibilities for all members of the George Brown community. For more information, review the institution-wide Office of Anti-racism, Equity and Human Rights Services web page.

If you feel harassed or discriminated against by staff, faculty, administration or other students, keep careful notes about the incident and then contact your Continuing Education department chair, an Anti-racism, Equity and Human Rights Services advisor or campus security.
