Dress Codes

Continuing Education dress codes for the 2022–23 academic year are as follows:

Program Dress Code Description
Construction and Trades The dress code for Construction and Trades courses is CSA-approved safety footwear and protective eyewear for shop areas.
Culinary and Baking Arts The dress code for Baking and Pastry Arts and Culinary Arts lab courses is a full George Brown chef uniform and black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe). (You will also be required to have the tools necessary for your course.) If you register for HOSF 9134 Baking Arts, HOSF 9088 Culinary Arts 1, HOSF 9445 Healthy Culinary Arts, or HOSF 9283 Vegetarian Culinary Arts 1, you will be provided with a bookstore voucher for a uniform package during the first class. (You will need to purchase your shoes and tools separately.)
Esthetician The dress code for Esthetician courses is comfortable shoes, our esthetics uniform, and no enhancements on your nails. (You will also be required to have the kits necessary for your course.) If you do not already own one, you must purchase our esthetics uniform from the Makeup and Esthetics Student Store. The fee for the uniform is in addition to the course fee.
Makeup Artist The dress code for Makeup Artist courses is no eyelash extensions. (You will also be required to have the kits necessary for your course.)
