Seniors (at least 65 years old by the start date of a course) are entitled to a 20% discount on the tuition of any Continuing Education course. This discount applies to the base tuition only and not to materials fees or other related course fees. You are eligible to apply the senior’s discount to a maximum of two courses per term, and George Brown College reserves the right to limit the number of seniors enrolling with discounted tuition in any one course.

In order to receive the discount, you must first register in the course you want using our online registration process then you must email the registration department at with your name and the student ID number you would have received when you registered. Make sure your email includes a copy of a piece of government-issued identification that shows your age (for example, a driver’s licence). The registration department will then process a refund (in the amount of the discount) back to your original form of payment (credit or debit card).

There is an active Seniors' Association at the college. For more information about programs or upcoming activities for seniors, call 416-415-5000, ext. 2418.
