Introduction to Nursing Theory NURS 1109

On Campus

Our Introduction to Nursing Theory course looks at how nursing theories relate to nursing practice and how they are applied. Learn about the history and development of nursing as a science, and study conceptual models, frameworks, patterns of knowing and selected nursing theories developed by Watson, Leininger and Benner. Consider phenomenological influences on theory development and their connection to patient-focused care.
