Our Foundation Colour course provides a basic introduction to the scientific principles of light and colour in a design context. Explore different colour concepts and theories, including aspects of colour in visual communication and its physical, optical and psychological properties. Through a variety of ideas and approaches, examine colour fundamentals as well as perceptions and concepts of visual creativity.

This is normally an in-class course but will be offered temporarily online while college buildings are closed. This course involves a combination of live lectures, supplemental recorded lectures and written content.
