Our Coffee Business and Supply Chain Management course examines the entire coffee supply chain – from the grower and the numerous intermediate players involved in distribution to the consumer. Build your understanding of how the history of coffee production has influenced the current market, and consider upcoming trends in the industry. Explore farming, bean selection, roasting, blending and the establishment of flavour profiles while also considering market implications. Learn about such issues as product contamination, the presence of residual agricultural chemicals and fair trade.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HOSF 9551 Coffee Specialist (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
