Our WordPress for Blogging and Web Design course teaches you how to create, publish, manage, and maintain a self-hosted website/blog using WordPress, a free open-source software application. Learn about a range of topics – from installation through to themes and plug-ins – as you build your own website using industry-standard processes and best practices.

This course requires you to come to the first class ready to purchase a domain name and a web-hosting plan that can support WordPress. Typical web-hosting plans start at $7 per month and may include the cost of a domain name.
