Our Welding 3 Theory course uses the CWB Group's Learning Resources framework to provide theoretical learning opportunities that build on the welding knowledge you gained in our Welding 2 Theory course. Explore engineering drawing interpretation distortion, metal forming, material handling and plasma cutting, and study the techniques involved in producing quality fillet joint welds in the vertical and overhead positions. Further expand your basic shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and basic gas metal arc welding (GMAW) knowledge and your understanding of welding health and safety.
You must have email, regular access to the Internet, a webcam and a microphone. You will receive access to the CWB Group's Learning Resources content, quizzes, and resources. The CWB virtual textbook that you received as part of WELD 9046 Welding 1 Theory (Online) can also be used for this course.
You must have completed our WELD 9048 Welding 2 Theory (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
