Welding 2 Practical WELD 9049

Our Welding 2 Practical course builds on the welding skills you learned in our Welding 1 Practical course. Learn basic joint design, oxy-fuel cutting and welding, and applied trade mathematics as you expand your basic shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and basic gas metal arc welding (GMAW) skills. Explore the construction and operation of welding and auxiliary equipment as well as welding health and safety.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our WELD 9047 Welding 1 Practical course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)

Additional Information

Course Essentials:

You must have and wear your own CSA-approved safety footwear and protective eyewear while in shop areas.
