Our Pathophysiology for Nurses course prepares you to integrate and apply pathophysiological concepts to clinical practice. Build the knowledge that supports and facilitates the study of nutrition related to pathologies by exploring the basic biochemistry of nutrition (including energy requirements, vitamins, carbohydrates, lipids and proteins). Consider the relevant health problems affecting clients with complex illnesses, and examine risk factors, etiology, interprofessional interventions and the distribution of health states relating to complex illnesses. Learn to expand your critical and analytical thinking skills and engage in reflective practice while appreciating the nurse’s scope of practice.
