Medical Skin Care Therapist Program

Certificate
Revised

Our Medical Skin Care Therapist Program teaches you everything you need to know to become an expert in skin care. Work with professional skin care lines as you develop the skills you need to perform classic and specialized facials as well as anti-aging, hyperpigmentation, rosacea and acne treatments. Study massage therapies (Swedish, lymphatic drainage and pressure point) and advanced skin care treatments (microdermabrasion, chemical peels, oxygen facials and intense pulsed light therapy). Practice what you learn by performing services – on classmates, models and clients – in the classroom and in the school spa. Further hone your skills through our advanced clinical component, which gives you the chance to apply the knowledge and techniques gained throughout your studies. Practice working independently and as a productive member of a team as you prepare for the workplace and get the confidence you need. Finally, learn how to create a professional resumé and prepare for a formal interview while also examining what is required to open and run a successful business. This esthetics program gives you the knowledge and techniques you need to be able to work at the highest level of professionalism.
