Our Skin Care 3 course helps you gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in microdermabrasion, chemical peels, oxygen facials and intense pulsed light (IPL) skin care treatments. Using the latest technology and products, learn to perform advanced customized treatments for anti-aging purposes and for various conditions (such as acne, pigmentation, rosacea and dilated capillaries). Classes occasionally feature industry guest speakers and representatives from skin care product lines who help you become more familiar with the esthetics industry. Practice what you learn by performing services – on classmates, models and clients – in the classroom and in the school spa. Public health standards, personal appearance, professionalism, etiquette and communication are integral parts of this course.
