Our Health Assessment course helps you acquire the knowledge and skills you need to conduct a comprehensive holistic health assessment. Explore how family dynamics, culture and religious beliefs are integral to the assessment of an individual's health. Learn the basic techniques used to complete assessments analytically. Consider inspection, palpation, percussion and auscultation.

The demonstration exam for this course is held at our Waterfront Campus in Toronto, Ontario. If you live too far away to come to that campus (100 km or more), email gbradley@georgebrown.ca to arrange to have your exam supervised through an approved alternative method.
Recommendations
You will have the most success in this course if you have already completed our NURS 1035 Nursing in Ontario course or our NURS 1061 Nursing in Ontario (Online) course and our NURS 1107 Scholarly Writing in Nursing course or our NURS 1114 Scholarly Writing in Nursing (Online) course before you start this course.
