Our Gem Setting course provides you with an introduction to various gem-setting techniques, including bezel, flush, tube, claw, and channel. Get an understanding of the properties and various cuts of gemstones, and learn to use and maintain gem-setting tools. Practice your skills through a range of projects.

Course Essentials:

Essential materials are provided during the course, but you must purchase extra materials as needed and have your own tools. Depending on the grade you choose, you should expect to spend between $250 and $350 (in addition to the course fee) on tools. The teacher will provide a list of required materials and tools during the first class.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our JEWL 9084 Jewellery-making Techniques 1: Basic course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
