Our Gas Technician 1 course is currently being offered in two parts: this course (Gas Technician 1 Theory) and our HVAC 9072 Gas Technician 1 Practical course. You must complete both parts at George Brown College to qualify to write the EX 03 TSSA Gas Technician 1 Exam.
Our Gas Technician 1 Theory course complies with the theoretical education portion of the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) training curriculum for the gas technician 1 (G.1) certification and includes modules 26 through 32.

Attendance Requirements:
You must attend a minimum of 80% of the scheduled classes to qualify for the EX 03 TSSA Gas Technician 1 Exam.
Grade Requirements:
You must achieve a grade average of 75% or higher in this course and in our HVAC 9072 Gas Technician 1 Practical course to qualify for the EX 03 TSSA Gas Technician 1 Exam.
Prerequisites
You must have 4,000 hours of relevant experience as a G.2-licensed gas technician with 500 supervised hours working on inputs over 400,000 BTUH. You must present proof in the form of detailed documentation.
