Our Digital Photography 1: Fundamentals course gives you the opportunity to gain hands-on camera experience through a series of exercises. Consider camera controls and the creation of quality images for future computer manipulation. This photography course also introduces Adobe Photoshop (including its fundamental tool sets and selected features) as a precursor to the digital darkroom.

Course Essentials:

By the third class, you must have a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) or mirrorless camera with manual control and 12 megapixels (or greater); a 32 GB (or greater) memory card; an SD card reader (or other device to download images); and a USB or external hard drive. The course will help you make an informed purchase by exploring the many types of digital cameras, lens types, and lighting accessories.
