Advanced Diabetes Education NURS 9213
Our Advanced Diabetes Education course provides you with advanced knowledge and skills in current clinical approaches to evidence-based diabetes care, diabetes management and diabetes education. Learn how to support people living with diabetes, their families and their caregivers while building capacity in diabetes prevention and management across the lifespan. This diabetes education course reflects such current practice competencies as microvascular and macrovascular complications; skin and foot care; psychosocial, cultural and lifestyle impacts; patient education and prevention strategies for diabetes management; and behaviour change for unique populations and situations.
Recommendations
You will have the most success in this course if you have already completed our NURS 9211 Diabetes Education Fundamentals (Online) course before you start this course.
