Most college IT systems have been restored; occasional service limitations may occur
In order to contain a suspected malware infection, all college IT systems were shut down and turned back on through controlled stages. There is no indication of a data breach at this time. Most IT systems are up and running, but some services may be unavailable or experience scheduled outages due to additional maintenance.
We thank you for your patience and apologize for the inconvenience.
Most online student services have been restored, but may experience intermittent limitations due to additional maintenance, including AppsAnywhere, Blackboard, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, online registration and student accounts (STU-VIEW). If you are having any difficulty with access or logging in, contact HelpDesk at 416-415-5000, ext. 4357.
We will keep you informed with status updates on this page. For detailed information on the college's response including an FAQ, visit the George Brown's college-wide news web page about the IT system outage.
