Welding 2 WELD 9039

Our Welding 2 course uses the CWB Group's Learning Resources framework to provide a combination of theoretical and practical learning opportunities that build on the welding skills you learned in our Welding 1 course. Expand your basic shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and basic gas metal arc welding (GMAW) knowledge – to include the construction and operation of welding and auxiliary equipment – and your understanding of welding health and safety. Explore basic joint design, oxy-fuel cutting and welding, and applied trade mathematics.

Course Essentials:

You will receive access to the CWB Group's Learning Resources content, quizzes, and resources. The CWB virtual textbook that you received as part of WELD 9038 Welding 1 can also be used for this course. You must have and wear your own CSA-approved safety footwear and protective eyewear while in shop areas.

You must have completed our WELD 9038 Welding 1 course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
