TSSA Gas Technician 3 Exam EX 01

Our TSSA Gas Technician 3 Exam marks the completion of the theoretical/written portion of the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) Gas Technician 3 certification. TSSA training and certification policies and procedures require you to pass the Gas Technician 3 exam within one year of the date you complete the training.

Note(s)

Effective September 1, 2024, you must have a TSSA customer account to write this exam. If you do not currently have one, you must create a customer account through the TSSA Client Portal. If you have an existing customer account, you must ensure that your account is linked to the TSSA Client Portal. If you have not done so already, ensure you submit your account number to cetech_tssa@georgebrown.ca

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HVAC 9052 Gas Technician 3 course (or the George Brown College post-secondary Gas Technician III course) and you must have completed the course within the one year TSSA time limit with at least an 80% attendance record, a grade average of 75% (or greater) on the theoretical education, and a grade average of 75% (or greater) on the practical training. If you have not met the prerequisite requirements, you will be withdrawn from the exam.

Exam Policies:

If you need to withdraw or transfer to another section, you must do so a minimum of 15 business days prior to the original exam date or you will forfeit the exam fee. At the exam, you must present a valid government-issued photo identification and a receipt of payment. Only the CSA Group hard-copy code book will be allowed in the exam room. There are no refunds for unwritten exams.
