Continuous Intake

Our Revit for Architecture 1: Introduction course covers all basic Revit building information modelling (BIM) concepts. Learn about project creation, view properties, navigation controls, dimensions, constraints, building element creation (including walls, foundations, floors, roofs, stairs, doors and windows), family components, sheet creation and view creation tools (including plans, elevations, sections, details and perspective views).


Course Essentials:

Free Revit software is available for this course, but system requirements for Autodesk Revit will be specific to the version of Revit you are using. Also refer to the basic technology requirements for online courses, but note that you will also be required to have an extra 4 GB of hard drive space to download the course materials. (Alternatively, DVD sets containing the course materials are available upon request. However, DVDs are temporarily unavailable while college buildings are closed.)

Registration Method:

This is an online course with continuous intake registration. That means this course does not have traditional start/end dates. You can register at any time throughout the year (24 hours a day, 7 days a week), and you will have 90 calendar days from the day you receive the online access/course materials to complete the course. Make sure to register in the section (CRN) with the Date(s) range that includes the date on which you plan to start the course (keeping in mind that you will receive your online access/course materials approximately a week after you register). Teacher support will be available via email.


You must have basic computer skills.
