Our Remarkable Restaurant Service course teaches you the basic principles involved in delivering excellent customer service. Get the skills you need to exceed guests' expectations, upsell to customers, handle difficult patrons, identify customer needs, sell yourself, and show enthusiasm in service. Through team-based learning, examine quality-assurance methods for assessing the effectiveness of a service environment and develop an understanding of the importance of service recovery. Analyze the various sectors within the foodservice industry, and study contemporary service practices that complement and enhance modern menus and restaurant concepts. Learn to critically evaluate the dining experience from a guest's perspective.
