Knife Skills HOSF 9124

Our Knife Skills course helps you develop your knife skills by teaching you fundamental cutting techniques. Using a variety of vegetables, fruits, chicken and fish, practice slicing, dicing, chopping, mincing, carving, deboning, filleting and more as you practice the essential cuts all cooks must master. Also learn essential knife care and safety so you can be more confident in the kitchen.

Course Essentials:

You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe) and tools to the first class.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HOSF 9088 Culinary Arts 1 course or our HOSF 9473 Culinary Arts 1 (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.) If you are taking this course as part of our Healthy Culinary Arts Program, you must have completed our HOSF 9445 Healthy Culinary Arts course or our HOSF 9473 Culinary Arts 1 (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
