Our Industrial Electrician 442A Pre-exam course is for those with field experience and electrical training who need a review for the Industrial Electrician (442A) licence exam. Review the Canadian Electrical Code (with an emphasis on locating and interpreting code) and the Ontario Building Code (with an emphasis on electrical safety issues). Also review work activities; power distribution and generating systems; low-voltage distribution systems; communication and data systems; industrial instrumentation and devices; microprocessor-based systems; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; emergency and standby systems; predictive maintenance; grounding and bonding; conductors; ampacity calculations; emergency and standby systems; batteries; signalling; and safety systems.
