Our Indian Cooking course teaches you to prepare a variety of regional dishes from one of the world’s great culinary cultures. Acquire the skills you need to balance a variety of flavours and spices and work with many distinctive ingredients in Indian recipes. Enjoy the opportunity to use a tandoor (clay oven), and learn other traditional Indian techniques such as those used to make curries, breads, meats, and desserts.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HOSF 9088 Culinary Arts 1 course or our HOSF 9473 Culinary Arts 1 (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)

Course Essentials:

You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe), and tools to the first class.
