
Healthy Desserts HOSF 9247
Our Healthy Desserts course is designed to help you overcome the challenge of reducing fat and sugar content in your sweet creations. Discover a variety of nutritious ingredients (such as whole grains, fruits, and alternative sweeteners) that can be used to create delicious desserts. Practice making new, innovative healthy treats as well as healthier versions of classic favorites.
Prerequisites
You must have completed our HOSF 9134 Baking Arts course or our HOSF 9461 Baking Arts (Online) course or our HOSF 9088 Culinary Arts 1 course or our HOSF 9473 Culinary Arts 1 (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
Additional Information
Course Essentials:
You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe), and tools to the first class.
