
Draping for Fashion Design FASH 9044
Our Draping for Fashion Design course teaches you fabric draping techniques on 3D figures. Working in muslin, learn to drape several basic forms. This fashion course emphasizes the methods and quality standards used by the major design houses throughout the world.
Prerequisites
You must have completed our FASH 9077 Apparel Construction 1 course and our FASH 9154 Pattern Drafting 1 course. (Approved equivalents are also acceptable.)
Additional Information
Course Essentials:
You will be required to have your own supplies and access to a sewing machine outside of class hours (to complete assignments). The teacher will provide a list of the required supplies during the first class. However, you must bring pattern drafting supplies (a ruler, measuring tape, pins, paper, and pencil) to first class.
