Our Apparel Construction 1 course provides you with a knowledge of garment construction through hands-on experience. Learn how to sew a skirt from a pre-cut sample using various seams, hem finishes, pockets, buttons, and zippers.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our FASH 9141 Introduction to Industrial Sewing course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)

Course Essentials:

You must have a sewing kit, scissors, a flat-head screwdriver, and your own fashion fabric. You must bring the sewing kit, scissors, and flat-head screwdriver to the first class.
