Our Digital Photography 5: Portfolio Development course has been designed for serious hobbyists or those looking to pursue a career in professional photography who want to fine-tune their personal style. Study some of the masters of photography, complete real-life photographic assignments, learn to work with comps, develop a more detailed understanding of colour management and build a portfolio.

Course Delivery Method:
This is normally an in-class course but will be offered temporarily online while college buildings are closed. Session recordings will also be available for students to re-watch.
Course Essentials:
You must have a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) or mirrorless camera with manual control. You must also dedicate a reasonable amount of time to coursework outside of class hours.
Prerequisites
You must have completed our PHOT 9050 Digital Photography 4: Advanced Lighting Techniques course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
Recommendations
If you are completing courses toward our Digital Photography Program, you will have the most success in this course if you have already completed all the other requirements in the program (including your electives) before you start this course.
