Our Digital Photography 3: Lighting and Composition course recognizes that, no matter how sophisticated and advanced your camera equipment, the keys to great photography remains a comprehensive understanding of light and a good sense of composition. Learn the fundamentals of photographic lighting and the core concepts of composition through practical in-class demonstrations and weekly exercises. Also get introduced to the additional technology you have built into your camera, and find out how to take advantage of it.
Course Delivery Method:
This is normally an in-class course but will be offered temporarily online while college buildings are closed. Session recordings will also be available for students to re-watch.
You must have a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) or mirrorless camera with manual control. You must also dedicate a reasonable amount of time to coursework outside of class hours.
You must have completed our PHOT 9065 Digital Photography 2: Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
