Clinical Practice Consolidation NURS 9215

Our Clinical Practice Consolidation course is a hospital-based experience that provides you with the opportunity to synthesize prior learning. Practice planning and delivering care to patients from across the life span who are experiencing acute and chronic illness and their families. Focus on developing advanced communication, leadership and collaboration skills using an integrated Interprofessional Education (IPE) immersion approach in order to achieve increased independence when delivering patient and family care.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our NURS 9214 Clinical Practice course and you must have completed the Placement Pass by ParaMed (formerly Requisite) Health Form process (including all required testing) and you must have sent the Placement Pass health form (along with all required documentation) to ParaMed. Once you have been cleared, ParaMed will send a formal report directly to Continuing Education.

To take part in Fall 2022 clinical practice consolidation, you must have met all the prerequisites listed here then you must email Julie Persons, Clinical Co-ordinator, at jpersons@georgebrown.ca on Friday, June 10, 2022.
