Our Baking and Culinary Arts for Youth course takes budding young chefs (ages 16 to 19) on an exciting journey into the world of baking and cooking. This hands-on course teaches the essential techniques and explores a variety of recipes involving vegetables, meat, pizza, pasta, desserts, and more. Unleash your culinary creativity as you learn the proper terminology, the correct procedures, and knife skills as well as how to adapt recipes. Get ready to roll up your sleeves, ignite your passion for food, and embark on a delicious culinary adventure!

Prerequisites

You must be between 16 and 19 years of age.

Additional Information

Course Essentials:

You must have a full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe), and tools for this course. The teacher will provide you with a bookstore voucher for a uniform package, but you must purchase your shoes and tools separately. The teacher will provide a list of required tools during the first class.
