Makeup 1 FASH 9207 Email to a Friend Our Makeup 1 course teaches you fundamental makeup application skills. This introductory makeup course explores colour theory as well as techniques in correction, concealing, foundation matching, contouring, highlighting, and eye and lip application. It also teaches you a variety of techniques for brow grooming and skin care. Classes occasionally feature industry guest speakers and representatives from makeup product lines who help you become more familiar with the makeup industry. Public health standards, personal appearance, professionalism, etiquette and communication are integral parts of this course. Note(s) Classroom and Exam Policies: You will be required to work on other students and to let other students work on you in order to gain the skills you need to work on models and clients. You will also be required to bring your own model on occasion and for practical exams. Course Essentials: You must purchase our professional makeup kit from the Makeup and Esthetics Student Store for this course. Our professional makeup kit costs $2,750 (plus tax) in addition to the course fee and includes all the professional makeup you will need for this course.
