Ahmed Sharaf

Ahmed Sharaf is an on-site sewage systems specialist with more than 35 years of experience in the design and construction of water and wastewater facilities with a focus on sewage collection, treatment, and disposal systems. He is currently a building code advisor with the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) and is involved in developing standards, regulations, and guidelines related to sewage systems. He also provides specialized engineering/technical support and expert advice to adjudicative and regulatory tribunals. Before joining the MMAH, Ahmed worked for the Ministry of the Environment as well as several engineering firms in Canada, in the United States, and overseas.
