Basic Sewing FASH 9142

On Campus

Our Basic Sewing course is intended for those with no previous sewing experience. Learn how to cut and sew a variety of garments (using commercial patterns and fashion fabric) as well as how to take body measurements and conduct basic garment fittings. Get the skills you need to confidently operate industrial sewing and serge machines through demonstrations and practice. This sewing course takes a hands-on approach by assigning projects, providing access to industrial equipment, and providing supervised lab time.
