House 2012: Independent Study BLDG 9249
Our House 2012 course is an overview/refresher course for experienced practitioners. This building code course helps you review and develop your understanding of the parts of the Ontario Building Code (OBC) dealing with houses. Based on the House Syllabus (2012), the curriculum focuses on Division B Part 9 of the OBC as well as Supplementary Standards SB-1, SB-2, SB-3, SB-7, SB-9, and SB-12.

This course can help you prepare to write the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) House exam (not included). The MMAH exam is administered by Humber College. For more information, visit the Ontario Building Code Examinations website.

Prerequisites
You must have a general understanding of the building construction process and basic blueprint reading skills.
