WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines: D1 Wine Production HOST 9185
Our WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines: D1 Wine Production course covers the production of wine from the vineyard to the glass. The grape growing concepts studied in this course cover the anatomy of the vine and grape, natural factors in the vineyard, explaining and evaluating growing approaches, and how choices affect the grapes in terms of yield, character, and quality. Explore winemaking and post-fermentation options and how they further influence the style, quality, and price of wines. Further explore these concepts using the WSET Level 4 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine. Experience winemaking firsthand with a guided day trip to the Niagara Peninsula, led by a winemaker and viticulturist.
This program follows the curriculum of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). For more information about the Level 4 Diploma in Wines, read the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines Specification.
