Our Thai Cooking 1 course teaches you the essentials of Thai cooking and introduces you to unique Thai ingredients as you learn to create plates that harmoniously balance spicy, salty, sour and sweet flavours. Practice preparing authentic Thai dishes (appetizers, salads, soups, curries and more) including Isan-style steak salad, green papaya salad, green chicken curry, coconut custard, pork satay and coconut-mango sticky rice.

Course Essentials:

You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe) and tools to the first class.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HOSF 9088 Culinary Arts 1 course or our HOSF 9473 Culinary Arts 1 (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
