Sushi HOSF 9075

On Campus

Our Sushi course explores the traditions of sushi through hands-on practice. Create perfect sushi rice and master knife cuts as you craft a variety of different sushi styles (including maki, nigiri, and chirashi) and sashimi. Learn to work with ingredients such as sushi rice, wasabi, nori, miso, salmon, eggs, avocado, mackerel, salmon roe, crab, umeboshi, shrimp, tuna, and more.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HOSF 9088 Culinary Arts 1 course or our HOSF 9473 Culinary Arts 1 (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)

Additional Information

Course Essentials:

You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe), and tools to the first class.
