Our Soups course takes you on an immersive and flavourful journey as it explores a variety of classic and international soup recipes. Expand your culinary horizons by learning the techniques and ingredients needed to create a diverse range of soups – from the hearty warmth of traditional bisques and French onion soup to the vibrant spices of Asian dishes like pho and khao soi, Discover the rich history and cultural significance behind each dish while mastering essential culinary skills such as balancing the delicious flavours, making stock, and perfecting soup consistency.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HOSF 9088 Culinary Arts 1 course or our HOSF 9473 Culinary Arts 1 (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)

Course Essentials:

You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe), and tools to the first class.
