Our Quality System Planning and Leadership course explores the strategic role of planning within quality management systems and its impact on overall organizational performance. Learn the foundational elements required to establish a functional quality strategy, including organizational design, leadership, and management functions. Through a historical and conceptual overview, trace the evolution of quality practices – from artisan-controlled processes to modern quality systems – highlighting the shift from "Big Q" (strategic quality) to "Little q" (operational quality).
Prerequisites
You must have completed our QC 9016 Fundamentals of Quality Assurance course.
Additional Information
Course Essentials:
You will be required to have a copy of the ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence Handbook, Fifth Edition, which can be purchased on the ASQ website. The same book will be used for the entire Quality Assurance Program.
