Our Pastry 1 course teaches you how to prepare many types of pastry dough and how to use them to make a wide variety of baked delicacies. Learn to make puff pastry, choux paste, sweet dough, custards and much more as you explore different ways to mix, shape, bake and decorate pastry treats.

You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe) and tools to the first class.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HOSF 9134 Baking Arts course or our HOSF 9461 Baking Arts (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
