Our Paralegal Field Placement 2 course is a continuation of our Paralegal Field Placement 1 course. Further expand your hands-on experience in a professional legal environment during the Term 6 Module.

Note(s)

This field placement falls within the permitted scope of practice for paralegal students (refer to the LSO's By-Law 4 for more information) and meets the competencies set out in the Paralegal Education Program Accreditation Form 3 (Individual Course Information Form). You can attend a Paralegal Field Placement information session for more details.

Prerequisites

You must have completed LAW 9108 Paralegal Field Placement 1, the Term 4 Module, and the Term 5 Module of our Paralegal Program and you must have a minimum cumulative average of C (63%) in your previously completed Paralegal courses and you must contact George Brown (using the department contact information on this web page) to get written permission to register and obtain a field placement manual. Anyone who registers without prior permission will be removed from the placement.
