Our International eDiscovery Executive: eDEx course provides a practical and comprehensive foundation in the principles and processes of electronic discovery (eDiscovery). Designed for professionals working in technology, compliance, legal, operations, data management, risk, or project roles, this eDEx course demystifies the end-to-end eDiscovery lifecycle – from data identification and collection to review, production, and cross-border data handling. Explore how organizations manage electronically stored information (ESI) during complex investigations, audits, regulatory reviews, or disputes. Through real-world frameworks and tools, gain critical insights into data preservation, defensible collection strategies, budgeting, quality control, information governance, and the use of advanced technologies like machine learning in document review.
This course is offered by George Brown College Continuing Education in partnership with the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) and includes a one-year membership with ACEDS.
Note(s)
The Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) Certification exam (not included) is administered by the ACEDS. For more information about the exam, visit the ACEDS website. However, passing this course earns you 12 credits that can be used towards earning the CEDS Certification. It also earns you a micro-credential, which is provided to you as a digital badge that can be posted to social media platforms (such as LinkedIn).
