Our Healthy Culinary Arts course is designed to provide you with the essential culinary skills and techniques you need to confidently prepare wholesome, healthy meals. Practice making a variety of recipes that are fast, simple and delicious but that also provide optimal health benefits. Focus on ingredient selection and preparation as well as specific techniques that can be used to create a variety of healthy dishes (such as ancient grain salad, poached chicken soup with vegetables, ricotta buckwheat gnocchi, white bean and Swiss chard ragout, veal stew with spring onions and more).

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HOSF 9088 Culinary Arts 1 course or our HOSF 9473 Culinary Arts 1 (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)

Course Essentials:

You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe), and tools to the first class.
