Our Corporate for Law Clerks course prepares you for the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO) Corporate exam. Intended for experienced legal assistants or law clerks, this exam preparation course examines the various types of business ownership. Learn about the corporate and administrative procedures involved in preparing and filing articles of incorporation, organizing a corporation by way of a minute book and preparing and filing relevant incorporation-related documents.
This course is equivalent to the Corporate course offered by the ILCO as part of the ILCO Associate Program.
ILCO exams are written according to the ILCO exam schedules. You must register in and pay for this course through George Brown College and register in and pay for the Corporate exam through the ILCO. You must complete and submit the online Provincial Corporate Exam registration form to the ILCO before the registration deadline in order to sit the exam. Your final grade will be issued by the ILCO after you complete the exam.
You will have the most success in this course if you already have a secondary school diploma and two years of related work experience in the legal field and a good command of written English before you start this course.
