Our Carpentry 1: Basic Woodworking course helps you gain fundamental skills in carpentry and woodworking. Learn to construct a variety of projects using the correct materials, tools, equipment, and procedures. The projects in this course focus on safely developing your hand and power tool skills. Projects range from assembling a mitre box to building a shelf (and do not cover building framing projects). All projects are portable so you can carry them home.

You must have and wear your own CSA-approved safety footwear and protective eyewear while in shop areas.
