Our Caribbean Cooking course gives you the chance to experience the many enticing flavours of the Caribbean as you practice preparing authentic dishes from the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica and Haiti. Learn to work with ingredients such as conch, goat, guava and plantains while you make arroz con pollo, steamed snapper, jerk chicken, sautéed callaloo, pikliz, diri ak djon djon, curried goat and more.

Course Essentials:

You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe) and tools to the first class.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HOSF 9088 Culinary Arts 1 course or our HOSF 9473 Culinary Arts 1 (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
